Saffron has changed.

I went on over to the Fighting Dojo again last night. These guys have really got a thing for arguing, I can see. Oh how sweet it would be to but a Black Belt in my doll house. But alas, I will not do that. I will not do that. I will not do that....

I never thought I'd say this, but I wish Kiyo had remained around. At least he respected my Pokemon and I. Sure, it wasn't until I got the League to dismantle his Gym status, but that is besides the point.

Anyways, going around Saffron, I have noticed all that has changed since I have left. The Silph Co. Building is under tighter security, as the public can no longer go further than the lobby. No real woes there, as I didn't see any point in touring the facility anyways.

What intrigues me the most is the new Magnet Train Station in town. It would only take me a few minutes to get to Goldenrod City. I have never been to Johto before, and have been hoping to have a visit there soon. If anyone reading this is from the region, some ideas as to where to go would be excellent.

Well, Goldenrod is another big city just like Saffron, so you'll probably feel at home there. Also, if you're interested in Ancient Legends make sure to check out Ecruteak City. Morty, The Gym Leader, is also an expert on Ecruteak's ancient legends. (And sometimes if you're lucky the world's foremost expert on the Legendary Dogs, Eusine, might be there.)

Other than that, maybe you could go to New Bark. At first glance it's just a sleepy little town on the border. But I'd definately reccomend checking out Professor Elm's lab, my Uncle is the worlds biggest expert on Pokemon Evolution, maybe you could learn something interesting.
Yeah, I gotta agree on checking out Elm's lab. I was there once. There's a lot of cool stuff there.
